  5. I'm a dance student at the Edna Manley College of visual and performing arts School of Dance. Also, a present member of the student council body serving as the School of dance Representative. Furthermore, I am an outreach leader at the school of dance.

 2) What motivates you the most? Why do you push yourself so hard?

As a young woman growing up in a community where all you see is violence, why not push hard? I saw how my peers lived and I didn't want that for myself so I make the best of every opportunity that has been given to me. Working hard is my only way out to a better life and a brighter future.

3) What does dancing do for you?

Dancing saved my life in more ways than one. Dancing is what motivates me as well as my method of mental therapy.

4) Why modeling?

Honestly, I never thought of doing modeling. I've always loved pageants but didn't have the motivation or confidence to try.  When the opportunity came, I say why not. From 2009 till now, it's safe to say I have no regrets and am happy I did.

5) Why have you stuck with Mr. Rose and this agency for so many years?

I believe in loyalty and I owe gratitude to him and his agency, because when one person told me I couldn't he told me I could and he saw what they didn't. I thank him each day for giving me a chance when he did. Being apart of his agency gave me a lot of marketing opportunities as well as it taught me a lot I didn't know about the modeling world.

6) What do you want to be your legacy?

I would like to have a legacy that will create platforms for young men and women capitalizing on their talents as well as motives them to be the best version of themselves. To trust the process and work hard because with hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude, one can achieve anything they set their minds to.

7) Tell us about your Festival Queen journey?

My journey as a Festival Queen was a challenging but exciting one. I had the opportunity to work on a platform like many intelligent and inspiring women before me. Being Miss St. Catherine allowed me to continue advocating for young men and women in and around the parish. It gave me the platform to continue a project which I started in 2017 called “Prepare for the Opportunity.” It is a mentorship and performing arts program for young girls age 10-18. I enjoyed every moment of my tenure as Festival Queen. After my tenure, I was able to leave a legacy behind for queens to come. The 2019 Miss St. Catherine Festival Queen winning Crown.

 8) What makes Stacy happy?

Knowing that I'm making a change in society and I'm not just another Jamaican. Knowing that I have a family who loves and supports me in everything I set out to achieve. Making others smile. Dancing and walking the catwalk or runway.

 9) What are you afraid of?

Not being able to do things I stated above.

 10) What do you love about Jamaica?

Our culture and the positive ability of our people to survive any situation thrown at them. The beaches and even though I'm not a foodie, I love me some nice ackee and saltfish and my curry goat and white rice with roti. I think it's safe to say there is nowhere in the world that can provide you with the energy and vibe like our Jamaica.
